On March 11th, 2004 Friends Forever recorded a collection of Smooth Jazz/Noise songs. This was never released. Ngwtt is releasing this collection in the coming few weeks or whenever enough money to make CD's can be obtained or whenever whatever obstacles to making it are gone.

After realizing every combination of notes and sounds has already been played, Friends Forever disbanded. But Josh Taylor's Friends Forever, Josh's new anti-patriarchy band, will be touring west coast in Mid March. None of those dudes that were in friends forever are in it , instead its these one bitches.

The RE-ISSUE of the material found on the Space phonographic lathe cut split album has been released on DeathBomb Arc in Compact Disk format and is available.

In addition to the music contained on the original there is several minutes of new material. This material is available.

First Denver. Van door catches on fire during 'USA' style firework. earlier curtains caught on fire. then FF leaves.

FF arrives in Chicago and Drives for an long time looking for place making many turns and stops. Police stop ff before they play twice. That town is hard to play.

then in Detroit play around an bunch of deserted looking buildings then guy spontaneously joins Hale Zukas and plays them a acappella song he did about how his brother died in the Gulf War. he then explained the commercial potential of his song. then Randy asked for cigarettes

Then went to New York, played a 'benefit', slept at colins house, then left New York.

Then played in New Brunswick in a basement. Then the New Jersey municipal police department investigated the ambulance that Hale Zukas was driving for signs of terrorism; they raised many concerns. Then everyone was thankful that minds like these are fighting terrorism. Then we get ready to give guy who lives in nearby town ride home but guy, though not technically lost, is not sure where he lives or how to get there. We leave him in New Brunswick. He looks disoriented as we leave.

Then went to boston; shut down before they play, move, then shut down 7 or so minutes into set. then randy asked for cigarettes.

Providence, Rhode island. then buddy ship played then their set ended. ff played game of 'shamrock vs. Dr. Intensity'. FF lets the audience win.

Then Palmer massachusetts. we get some great posters and buttons Then the first in a series of burns of various degrees, these burns don't prevent randy from asking for cigarettes.

Then the Kids of Allentown go fucking insane and take shit apart during S vs. Dr I.. Played inside. Then we sleep at M Kosleff moms house. Then Matt's mom talks really loud to her cats early in the morning.

Then we go to ciara's house and do this hippy-style cleansing ritual to de-vibe it. Then we eat Philadelphia cheese steaks in Philadelphia. Afterwards randy asked for cigarettes. Then a bunch of bikes follow us for 15 blocks or so. we played and it rained. People were donationally generous, thanks.

Then played(inside) in Baltimore on a very rainy day. The next day Corn Dawg came over. he told us about a website directory for paid research volunteers.


Then it was the 'Road to the Super Bowl: Bloomington to Jacksonville' 2004 tour. Then drove all day to play at Carlos house. It was the final day of the 30 day 30 show series at his house. One show was a 24 hour melee of noise in which carlos played a 24 hour long performance. Apparently part of it was done while he was sleeping. Then ff set up in front of some place where this hippy jam band was playing. then a tattoo faced guys tells us he refuses to attend all shows at carlos house because they are bullshit. a bunch of midwestern college types walk by as part of their college experience.

Then went to nashville and played in Taiwan Deth backyard. then this little dog got sprayed by sparks. then randy asked for cigarettes. Then sat in empty nearby houses swimming pool.

Then went to chattanooga and walked across this long bridge. then some girl bitched about the price at the door.

Then burnt hand real bad in Winston salem. Then roommate brings out the first-AID kit and gives Lead Singer AIDS.

Then played outside a in a storage unit lot in Charleston. People take a few moments to watch before returning to whatever gray late night tasks they are carrying out on their friday night at a storage facility. Randy-Cigarettes.

Then in Ashville Meth lady tells FF they cannot play in her parking spot. ff moved to the street and played a full set. FF sees Bucket Head without his bucket on his head. They don't really mention it to anyone, not even to randy.

Then played the SUPERBOWL! set in Jacksonville Florida thus paving the way for the Denver Broncos to also have an 'all-star' performance. The Broncos didn't lose a game during the time FF was on the road. Unfortunately the Broncos kind of fell apart at the end of the season. Maybe next year with some new talent, who knows?


Then the 'Cyber punk 2004' tour began. In Birmingham a Haunted house was near where ff was going to play. the police immediately stop it; no show in Birmingham. Then the lead guitarist gets punched and mugged while looking for a payphone, an event that happens to him with increased frequency. He had no wallet for the rest of the tour. burned-boy visits the hospital. Then gets charged $150 for really very little.

Then in New Orleans, they play this rave-style thing. then it rains and ff plays until something breaks. then they go to get an amp from inside and a man was doing a break-dance-esque dance with a glo stick. randy smoked one last time. then the tour ended and FF went home, sorry Texas. Then Lead Singer gets another bill from the hospital for $200 bringing his grand total to over $350 for having some lady look at hand and say, "keep it clean." Always use false names in Emergency Room situations.
In conclusion ff says thanks and sorry.

Finished many things this month, expect a re-issue of split 10inch with Gang Wizard onto compact disc, a few compilation pieces and small west coast tour in august. Meanwhile, Nate is planning a month long excursion into the strange and violent world of arts and crafts. We wish him well.

Friends Forever is mostly recording recorded material right now. Availability of this material is unknown. We discussed touring more towards fall.

Friends Forever will be playing in Los Angeles California on Saturday May 8th at the Cotton Candy Octopus Land Festival. Also performing: J. Mitchell Simon, K of W High, , Hi Hopes, Aralina Ping plus DJ Professor Cantaloupe and vegan potluck (please bring something).
